Job Summary

As an integral member of the Adorama Business Solutions (ABS) Organization, the Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of sales operations. They will also be required to work cross functionally to ensure company and department objectives are met.

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Manage the day to day flow of sales proposals to ensure timeliness to gaining customer P.O.s.
  • Mine data and create reports reflecting progress toward quotas, sales goals, and CS protocols.
  • Send weekly reports on phone and email traffic, call types, call volume, overall outbound call activity and trouble areas.
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.
  • Leads implementation and consistent use of CRM (Salesforce.com), across the Sales Organization.
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company.
  • Supports the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.
  • Works to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion.
  • Review and analyze sales data to discover areas needing improvement.
  • Report sales plans and results to management, make recommendations for future objectives.
  • Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs.
  • Working with Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources, provides assistance with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of sales compensation program policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • College or university degree or equivalent proven working experience
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in project management in a sales environment
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a business analysis or CRM management role
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a sales or sales management role
  • Experience with Sales, Sales Systems, Sales Reporting and Sales Analysis
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com administration and/or development
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (advanced/expert level preferred)
