Job Summary

Primary Objective of this position is to provide a great positive customer experience when picking up & dropping off rented equipment at the curbside. This position also includes aspects of Customer Service and Department Maintenance.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible to always have a fully charged Two-Way Radio.

  • Be ready to execute a curbside job needed at first request from Customer Service representative.

  • Before giving equipment to the customer, make sure you get the equipment dispatched and that the customer’s Photo ID matches the name on the contract.

  • If customer is not at the curb by the time you get there (within normal time limit), wait until the customer gets there!

  • Upon return make sure you do a QR on the order, if the order is locked ask a manager via the Two-Way Radio to unlock the order and to relock it after the QR is done

  • Your primary station should be in the front facing the customers and tending to their needs

  • Scan all paperwork waiting to be filed

  • Notify proper department about equipment waiting to be returned in the front

  • All bins and carts with returned equipment should be emptied and distributed to the proper dept., including what needs to go to the trash (papers or other garbage left in the bin)

  • No equipment should be laying around in the front area others if it’s waiting to be picked up.

  • Keep walkways clean at all times

  • In the morning check the bin orders if any weren’t picked up, have a C/S rep cancel the order and you return the bin to the proper department

  • Before leaving at night empty ALL trash bins, fold up all boxes (make sure they are empty) and take down the garbage bags (garbage can’t be taken down loose)
    Sweep and mop the floor as needed, at least once a week

    Additional responsibilities may be assigned to fit our business needs

Qualifications and Skills

  • A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.

  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with clients, supervisors, and other staff members.

  • Must be able to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions while maintaining professional working relationships with clients and employees.
